i remember not having a clue as to what "social studies" was when i was in the fourth grade. when we would read the textbook during class i would wonder what the fuck the point of the class was. but i loved my social studies teacher mr. eppley, even though i was too shy to talk to any of my teachers. and at the end of each year he let students take a shot at him with water balloons outside :) i just remembered this out of the blue.
