naked, anti-social and happy

i took a shower about half an hour ago but i'm still sitting naked in my towel listening to music. i love post-shower laziness. idling for about an hour after a shower just feels so soothing and peaceful, as well as liberating. it's like meditating in my cleanliness or something.

these days i am very busy doing nothing: i'm really into the tv show six feet under right now. i also started knitting again (which i haven't done since high school). i'm in the middle of knitting two scarves right now, one for me and one for my momma, experimenting with different stitches and such. (why i started knitting scarves now, at the beginning of spring, is beyond anyone's comprehension). i'm going to go and pick up some more yarn today. i'm also in the middle of reading 3 different books: the book on al pacino, our guys, and a tree grows in brooklyn. i hate reading multiple books at once b/c my mind can get boggled but i couldn't wait to start reading the books.

urban outfitters is having a $5 sale so i ordered a beanie and two fauxscription glasses. i remember an ex-boyfriend had bought a pair of glasses just to wear as an accessory and we all thought it was so weird/quirky. and now i own about 10 pairs, in addition to my real prescription glasses. funny how things turn out!
