i'm going to a special screening of youth in revolt, with q&a session afterwards with michael cera. i am so so so so excited. there will be an after party at a bar afterwards. i wonder if he'll be there?! let's all hope he sees me and falls in love with me forever. update later.

oh my goodness what a night i had! so my friend picked me up b/c my mom had my car, and we drove down to the bridge cinema @ university city. the screening started at 7:30 pm, and we got there 8 minutes late only to find out it was already full :( we tried to sneak in but there was only one seat remaining. this nice woman and man in charge of the event asked us what was going on and we made up a story about how sam (my friend) was already in before but had to come and get me and now all seats were taken. they told us we can stay for the q&a, so we went to the lounge to wait and ordered drinks. we tried to charm the bartender and another worker there to try and get them to hook us up and see michael cera. they had strict orders though so we understood, but they did tell us which way he'd be coming in and out, so we waited at the bar right by the back entrance. and we scored free drinks, hah!
they also let us know when the escalades pulled up to the back entrances, so we went out to have a cigarette. we were being such creepers! but we didn't have the balls to and we didn't want to get banned so we didn't go up to the escalades, but went back inside to the lounge. so we finally see him coming in and omg it was so exciting. we were already buzzed, and when he came in we stared at him and he definitely acknowledged us! haha. he was wearing this jacket and i found a picture because i have nothing better to do:
we also kissed up to the guy who was in charge. he was such a cock block. but he did let us know when the q&a started so we got to go in and watched michael cera and portia doubleday answer questions. it was fun. once it was over we bolted back over to the lounge bar by the back entrance. and then michael cera came out and i was so close to him! i asked him for a photograph but a bodyguard shuffled him out. le sadness. i'm an idiot because i should've just whipped out my phone and taken a pic. and that's my story of how i came to be within inches from the love of my life, and most likely totally creeped him out as a crazy stalker.
afterwards, we went to woody's, where there was an after party for the screening. it was free open bar from 10-12, so of course i got smashed. i already had two vodka tonics and a beer, so i was already pretty drunk by the time i got there, but i think i had like 2 or 3 more vodka tonics. and then somehow we found ourselves signing release forms and filming segments for comedy central on what the craziest thing we ever did for love was. oh god. i was so drunk and i never did anything crazy for love b/c i don't even know what love is, so i made up and said something that wasn't even funny or amusing or anything, just totally weird. i really don't need my drunk self nationally televised. at least no one in my family watches that channel. it was fun though from what i can remember.
waking up today wasn't. i puked about 4 times and i missed class because i was too weak to drive, and probably still drunk. i think i might've missed a quiz, fml. so anyways, it was a crazy night. i just remembered drunk texting, fuck. the whole michael cera experience was so surreal. i felt like such a teenybopper fan girl. it was like i was 16 again at an nsync concert all over again.
