Celebrating Thanksgiving the Right Way

happy turkey day to all! a day of celebrating a bird by the name of turkey. (turk-ay if you want to be fancy). and by celebrating i mean slaughtering and feeding ourselves senselessly. sarah palin loves them. oh snap! ha no, i know there's more to thanksgiving than turkey. there's also mashed potatoes and stuffings. i do prefer my potatoes roasted with rosemary though, i must say.

i didn't do anything special this year. not that i ever really do anything special for thanksgiving. it's not even a real holiday for us asians. it's just another excuse for the extended family to get together. but since i'm not crazy about my family (just kidding.. sometimes) i decided to forgo the family get-together this year, and instead opted for a night of debauchery in the cit-ay. kidding. we just went out to smoke, drink, and dance the night away and that we did. i like going out because there's always some kind of drama. loves it! drama that doesn't involve me of course. drama i can just sit back and watch unfold. teehee.

i liked my outfit last night so i took a picture of it with my phone on my grimy-ass mirror hahah. i wore american apparel tights in paprika with their tri-blend cardigan, corduroy shorts, and naturalizer booties and a vintage blouse. i added pearls before i went out.

a single picture from the night. and you can't even see my face. i did my makeup a la sympathy for lady vengeance and did dramatic deep red eye shadow (urban decay's last call). everyone looked so cute last night, so fabulous. saw some old friends. can't wait for this saturday, a friend is home for his thanksgiving break and we shall celebrate.
